Aluminium dibond signs are the best form of outdoor signage. Printed at high resolution with light-fast and waterproof inks, super-strong, wind resistant and suitable for all weathers. They look fantastic indoors or out and will last for years.
Signs for any situation
Aluminium dibond is a composite aluminium material, sometimes called Aluminium Composite Panel or ACP. It’s rigid and extremely strong but very lightweight. It comes in 3mm thick panels with a polyethylene core and white aluminium facing sheets. It’s the strongest outdoor signage material for its weight, and the only choice for any outdoor sign that’s likely to experience a high wind load.
Your choice of finish
Our dibond signs are printed straight-to-board as standard. They are fully weather-proof for outdoor use. They have a satin finish that is somewhere between matt and gloss.
If you want extra scratch resistance and increased UV protection, or you just want a definitive matt or gloss finish then choose one of our laminated options.
Please note our standard unlaminated product is fully suitable for outdoor use. Lamination is not normally necessary but may be desirable for hard wear areas or if you require a highly matt or highly gloss finish.

We are happy to pre-drill screw holes in the four corners of your sign, or round off the four corners (useful if the sign is in a pedestrian area). Just check the relevant options on the order form above.
Contour cut
We can cut dibond to any shape on our industry-leading CNC router. This includes interior cuts to create windows or slots. Just choose the ‘Contour cut’ option from the form above and supply artwork with vector cut paths that describe where you would like the cuts. When I needed a new sign, I immediately thought of Foamex; I’ve had it before and it does the job well. However, my research for a signmaker introduced me to Dibond, and to print-2-media. I checked out the product comparisons, including the very good article on this site, and decided I would give Dibond a try. On my 120 x 60 cm sign it wasn’t going to be much more expensive and every report says how good it is, so I took the plunge.
I have to say that I am delighted with the result. The colours are rich and vibrant and the images are like photos. The gloss finish is stunning and to say it looks highly professional is an understatement. It will be fixed to the back of a large trailer taking my business around the country and is probably the best advertising investment I have ever made.

Quick service but items were damaged when they arrived, the corners had been bumped in transit. When it said laminated i wasn’t expecting just a sticky backed sheet on top which meant there were some bubbles and lumps behind it. Also some trimming was necessary as the sheet had overlapped slightly. Finally a final proof should have been offered as my pictures lost something in the download process. Not bad but I expected a bit more for the money.

I’m sorry your items didn’t arrive in perfect condition. If you’re unable to use them we will of course replace them. It’s normal for a laminate to be applied as a self adhesive film – liquid laminates are available but they’re less common and don’t offer any benefits over the usual process. I’m sorry this isn’t what you were expecting. We don’t proof every order because often the artwork we receive doesn’t need anything doing to it to make it ready for print. That being said, we’ve taken your feedback on-board and we will be adding an option to all of our products that confirms to us that you definitely want a proof before printing. We couldn’t see any difference between the PDF you supplied and what we printed. Could you let us know what the issue was?

Excellent print quality with a professional-looking laminate finish. The A4 sign has a blemish in the middle, unfortunately on a white part of the sign which shows it up.
The signs have more play in them than expected so we’ll need to be careful not to bend them because they’re to be hung by cord on gateposts.
The rounded corners are precise and smooth, but the drilled holes are rather rough and could benefit from filing down.

I ordered an (almost) A0 size aluminium dibond sign with laminated gloss finish. It arrived quickly and looks fantastic. The material is very solid. There were no bubbles in the laminate, and the colours are accurate and vivid.
In case this helps others, I will share some details of our application. We have produced an A0 walking map of our village, mounted at a public location. We found the best place to get a good quality cheap frame is to buy a wooden framed blackboard from ebay. There are all standard ‘A’ sizes, solidly built wooden frames. We bought an A0 framed blackboard first, then measured the inside area to the millimetre and used that as the print measurement – the print was thus slightly under A0. We then used evostick to glue the print to the blackboard – producing a very professional looking and sturdy end result.
Our artwork was too big for print2media’s online ordering form, so I placed the order, then uploaded the artwork to a free mega.nz account, and then tweeted the link, together with the order number, to print2media (their email bounced my message as spam 🙁 ).
We are very happy with print2media, and will use them for all future jobs.

Many thanks for your last delivery. We’ve ordered quite a few in recent years. We are consistently impressed with the quality of the printing but there were a couple of problems:
– the four signs which I had asked for in A2 were delivered in A3. I think your agent worked off the size of the pdf (of which I was unaware – I did not draw it) and not the size measurements which I put into your website
– when I reported this problem, you were very prompt in issuing new signs in A2, but these did not come with rounded corners as stated on the original order.
I will be ordering further signs, but more haste less speed would give a better product and customer service.

Hi Dave. Glad you were happy with the sign. Sorry you didn’t get a notification from the courier. You should have been emailed with a 1 hour time slot for delivery. I will investigate why they didn’t send you that. We are not aware of a courier service that puts more than 1 driver on a vehicle. The only option for that would be for us to hire out a contract delivery company on a per-job basis and on the customer’s behalf. Clearly this would be cost-prohibitive.

We always use Print 2 Media for our signs as they’re reliable and the service is quick. The only thing I could complain about is, sometimes if we have the items laminated, there can be a lot of dust/dirt/burr in between the print and the laminate. Perhaps they could do with a more dust free environment or an extractor or something just to remove the risk. It’s understandable that burr comes off and can get trapped but it can cause an issue sometimes with clients being dissatisfied. Apart from that minor fault, their service is excellent.

I’ve had my dibond signs up for a year now and they still look brand new. I believe a truck hit one of them, and although it’s a bit bent, and the fixing came slightly loose, which is now fixed, it held up very well, so won’t have to buy another one. Just buying another one now. Highly recommended!
